Description This building was built in the early 1900's, I believe 1907, after the first one burned down a year after it was built. Today it houses a gigantic gaming room downstairs with video games, a shooting gallery, laser tag, etc. Upstairs they have the Coconut Grove for weddings, parties, etc. There is no gambling in this building, even though it is called a casino.
Susan Kessler, Santa Cruz Member Since December 2009 Artist Statement I have always been interested in art. In 1995, I started taking art classes at Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA . I've mainly been doing acrylic painting and also some photography. Over the years, my work has been in juried art shows and I have exhibited at the Santa Cruz County Fair, where I have won numerous awards for my artwork and photography. I continue to strive to keep learning and experimenting, not only with painting and photography, but also mixed media and digital art.
